Maintenance phase reality on maintenance dosing: reached my goal 5 months ago and now I'm in maintenance. It's a different mental game.
During weight loss, the scale going down is constant positive reinforcement. In maintenance, the scale staying the same is... just... nothing. It's anticlimactic. The dopamine hit is gone.
What keeps me going: lab improvements, physical capabilities, how I feel, fitting in clothes I love, and the knowledge that regain happens when people stop being intentional. I'm staying intentional.
Following on from JenPlateau — and this may be the naive question:
What did you change at the same time, and can you separate the two now?

Pushing back on VendorMark here. The trial means are being read too generously in this thread. STEP populations were selected, supported, and titrated by protocol, and the real-world curves are consistently a few points worse. That difference is not noise, it is what happens when you remove the study infrastructure.
Ask again with the specifics and you will get a better answer than this one.

That holds for the injectable. The oral formulation has different absorption behaviour and the dose numbers are not interchangeable, which is worth saying out loud because people quote them as if they were.
OP back with an update, since a thread like this is useless without one.
Update. I did go to 2.4mg in the end, and the honest report is that it bought me less than the step before it and cost me two bad weeks. Worth knowing rather than worth repeating.
